Wildsmith back to 100%

1 December 2016

The Owls head into Saturday’s clash against Preston in good shape, with no fresh injuries to report from last weekend’s victory at Wolves.

Joe Wildsmith has fully recovered from a finger injury that has seen the shot-stopper sidelined since late October.

Elsewhere, Jack Hunt and Barry Bannan who suffered minor knocks at Molineux last weekend are fit for selection.

Carlos Carvalhal said: “We have recovered Joe Wildsmith to the training and he is at 100%.

“There are no new injuries, we recovered Joe and have no other problems. Of course, we want all the players fit and ready to play.

“When we receive one player we are happy and it’s the same with Joe. He’s been training two-three weeks but now he is training at 100% and this is important.”

Gary Hooper will remain sidelined with a hamstring injury.
