Dust ourselves down and go again

24 February 2016

Wednesday’s relentless Championship campaign continues on Friday with a trip to leaders Hull City.

Following the midweek draw with QPR at Hillsborough, right back Jack Hunt says the players will quickly dust themselves down and regroup ahead of another crucial league fixture.

Much like the Owls, Hull boast a fantastic record on home soil.

And while disappointed not to have claimed three points against the R’s, Hunt says the key now is to head to Hull in the best possible shape.

“As hard as that was to take on Tuesday, we have a massive game on Friday and we’ve got to stick together, dust ourselves down and go again.

“I thought we were the better team and had a few good chances to go ahead and at half time we felt we should go on and win the game.

“It’s hard to recover in such a short time, three games in six days but it’s the same for everyone and hopefully we can go to Hull and cause an upset.”

Hunt believes the Tigers will go into the televised clash as favourites but sees no reason why Wednesday cannot cause an upset and added:

“They are top of the league, they are the home team and will be the favourites.

“We’re away from home, we’ll have to stay compact but when we put in a good performance we are as good as anyone in this league.

“We’ve been on a great run, hopefully we’ll go there and give another good account of ourselves.”
