Owls striker Gary Hooper has been crowned as the swfc.co.uk January Player of the Month.
The 28-year-old attracted 62% of the fans’ vote via the official website.
With five goals from the previous three Championship fixtures, Hooper is in a rich vein of form for Wednesday.
The prolific frontman struck twice in the Owls’ 3-2 win over Bolton and promptly registered another double next time out, as Wednesday defeated Yorkshire rivals Leeds 2-0.
Upon signing a three and a half year deal with the club, committing his future to Wednesday until summer 2019, Hooper marked the occasion with a goal in the Owls’ next outing away at Reading.
