Wednesday will be hoping for a boost on the injury front in the coming week.
The Owls were without club captain Glenn Loovens and Sam Hutchinson on Saturday.
Hutchinson, along with Keiren Westwood and Kieran Lee, fell to injury at Birmingham the previous week.
While Westwood and Lee recovered in time to feature in the club’s biggest victory of the season over Brentford, Hutchinson was not included in the 18.
Loovens has been sidelined with a groin injury since the clash with Burnley earlier this month.
Carlos Carvalhal provided an update and said: “Sam Hutchinson didn’t recover, he was not 100% so let’s see with him during the week.
“Glenn Loovens also, they are little problems not big problems, so I believe they will come back to work with us very soon.
“Kieran Lee recovered, he had a small problem but recovered in time."
Wednesday’s Championship campaign continues next weekend at Preston and Carlos continued:
“We are trying to focus the players just on the next game.
“We understand the expectations of the persons around us but I can assure you, me and my players are in the same boat and thinking only about the next game.”
