Looking ahead to Saturday’s trip to Reading, Carlos Carvalhal says he is wary of Reading’s threat.
The Royals have won three of their last 12 games but the head coach believes they are in a false position in the Sky Bet Championship, given the talent of the squad.
“It will be a tough game,” he said. “They are in a position that is not the reality of the value of their team.
“They have a value to be in another position.
“Everybody knows that they are trying to go for the top six positions, they have tried to fight for this position since the beginning.
“It can happen in the Championship where sometimes you are in good moment and sometimes not so good.
“They lost their last game in the Championship but won in the cup.”
Wednesday are of course defending their 100% start to 2016 which has comprised three home wins and one travelling triumph.
Carlos added: “I believe we will be with good support from our fans and our players will give the maximum on the pitch.
“They have players that can make a difference but we believe that we are strong.”
