Owls ace Fernando Forestieri is one of four players nominated to win the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for December.
Forestieri hit five goals from six appearances in the final month of 2015 and moved on to ten goals for Wednesday – and in doing so became the joint fourth top goal scorer in the division.
Battling with Forestieri for the December gong are Adam Clayton (Middlesbrough), Tom Ince (Derby) and Matt Mills (Nottingham Forest).
The winner will be announced on Friday 8 January.
The 25-year-old was also voted as the club’s Player of the Month winner last week.
