Keep it balanced

12 January 2016

Keeping balanced, come what may, is vitally important according to Carlos Carvalhal.

By this, the head coach is referring to the general mood in the camp after each game.

Wednesday’s recent results have been hugely positive with four wins from five, cup progression and a climb to just two points outside of the top six.

But Carlos will not be getting carried away with good form, just as he doesn’t get down with defeat, as he explained:

“When we win, nobody saw me jumping with the fans in the stand and when we lose nobody saw me crying and staying home.

“I don’t change with the mood of the moment, I haven’t changed because we won three games, I don’t change because we lose three games.

“I am a balanced person.

“We have never been in the top six up until this moment, that is the reality. In the media, there are six teams that are better than us.

“But we are very ambitious and trying to do our best.

“We are in a good way at the moment and we still have half a season to play and we want to continue like this.”
