In a unique take on the January transfer window, Carlos Carvalhal has said it provides an opportunity to refresh a club.
Wednesday sit seventh in the Championship after 25 games and as the FA Cup takes centre stage this weekend – the head coach is happy with the current situation at Hillsborough.
As such, Carlos says the Owls are not looking to make too many movements in the window and he explained:
“The transfer window is nice, when you open the window fresh air can come inside so you can refresh your house.
“That means that it is not negative, it is a positive.
“When the transfer window is open, we have the opportunity to change one or two things.
“If you did well in July and you don’t have too many problems during this period, you don’t have to move too many in January.
“If you have a lot of problems in this period, you must move a lot in January, this is my opinion.
“At the moment, we are in a very good way.”
