SWFCCP host free football sessions

The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme are looking for young people aged 8-16 years to take part in free football sessions across the city.

Ran by fully qualified coaches from the club’s Community Programme, the sessions take place in Sheffield parks and are in place to coach and work with young people to develop their football skills and give participants the chance to take part in an organised training session.

The sessions, ran in conjunction with national organisation Sport for Change, are all completely free of charge and are available in parks near you!

The sessions are available in Parson Cross, Firth Park and Middlewood Park over various dates from now until 24 August.

Available sessions are listed below:

Parson Cross park multi use games are
Tuesdays from 3 – 4:30pm
26 July, 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd August.

Firth Park multi use games area
Fridays from 3- 4:30pm
29th July, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th August.

Middlewood Park
Mondays from 5-6:30pm
25th July, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd August.
