North Stand Season Ticket holder Chris Heeley, together with fellow Owls Peter Lee, Matt Lister, Liam Middleton and Steve Prowse, has successfully completed the London to Amsterdam cycle challenge for the benefit of Prostate Cancer UK – the official charity partner of the Football League.
The group were boosted by the presence of former Wednesday defender Viv Anderson as they made the 240-mile ride across Europe.
Prostate cancer effects one man in every eight and all funds raised by the cyclists will help battle the illness.
Chris said: “I've set a target of £1,500 for this year's ride to make it £6,000 in total over the last three years and I am getting closer.
“Any help Wednesdayites can give to get me over the line would be really appreciated by myself and PCUK.”
