Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to report incredible results on the digital front with the official website, swfc.co.uk, comfortably achieving the highest number of unique visitors in the EFL during the final month of the 2015/16 campaign.
Throughout May, the Owls registered just shy of 500,000 unique views on the official site, smashing the club’s individual records since figures were fist collated in 1999.
During the same month, swfc.co.uk also chalked up a massive 3m page views – another club record.
Throughout the 2015/16 season, figures across the Owls’ digital platforms steadily went north as more and more supporters connected with the club via the official website, Twitter (@swfc and @swfcTICKETS), Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Meanwhile, this week saw another sharp spike in visits to swfc.co.uk as the Owls’ fixtures for 2016/17 were released on Wednesday.
Fixture release day typically tops the charts each year in terms of hits across the 72 EFL club websites as fans get their first glimpse of the upcoming season – and this year was no different.
We aim to go from strength to strength on all fronts in tandem with the team – so join us here and across all Sheffield Wednesday official social media channels throughout 2016/17!
