Sheffield Wednesday have signed former Leicester City defender Elliot Percival on a one-year contract.
The teenage talent will link up with the Owls’ Development Squad and arrives at Hillsborough with a glowing reputation.
Right back Percival, 18, spent a near decade with the newly-crowned Premier League champions and has welcomed the challenge of a fresh start with Wednesday.
He told swfc.co.uk: “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of playing for Sheffield Wednesday.
“This is exactly the kind of club where I want to develop my career….I saw the kind of support the club gets at Wembley and that really is the 12th man.
“Everyone has been really friendly and I have been told the pathway opportunities are very good.”
