There will be no time to let the dust settle on Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby as Wednesday head to Brighton in midweek.
As the Owls prepare for their longest trip of the campaign on Tuesday, Carlos Carvalhal is expecting a strong reaction following defeat to Rotherham.
While the Seagulls are in the hunt for an automatic promotion spot, Wednesday will arrive at The Amex in the top six and looking to pick up vital points.
Carlos said: “We are still fighting in the competition, so the next game is against Brighton and we will be with a strong team.
“We must react very fast and I expect that our team can have a good game.
“I was very clear since I arrived at the club that we will try to fight for the three points and try to play our football in all the games.
“I think we are doing well with what we promised.”
