Carlos Carvalhal says the final international break of the season has come at exactly the right time.
The current Easter holiday period extends into the top two tiers of English football, a rare circumstance in recent history.
But the Owls’ head coach has welcomed the opportunity for his players to wind down before they go full steam ahead through the final laps of a gruelling campaign.
He said: “The breaks in the schedule are always good because rest and recovery time is very important.
“At this moment, I am absolutely sure the international break right now is the best time.
“Next month in April, we have a lot of games in a short period of time and it is vital the players go into this period in their best possible condition.”
