Having played for both clubs, Sam Hutchinson is relishing a return to The City Ground this weekend with Wednesday.
The combative midfielder spent part of the 2012/13 season on loan with Nottingham Forest, where he made nine appearances and scored on his home debut in a 2-1 win over Charlton.
As the Owls face Forest on Saturday, Hutchinson believes with the talent at the club’s disposal on and off the pitch, everything is in place for a strong finish to the campaign.
He said: “We have the confidence to go into every game thinking we are going to win.
“We have a good squad, coach and backroom staff and everything is in place for us to go and beat teams.
“We had a good performance at Brighton and were maybe a little unlucky not to come back with a win but we go again on Saturday.
“Everyone has got tough games to go, it’s a funny league and anything can happen before the end of the season.”
On his time with the Reds, he added: “I loved my time at Forest and I have good memories there.
“They are a big club like us, they are not doing as well as us this season but it will be a good game this weekend between two massive clubs.”
