Liam Palmer is most certainly enjoying his recent run in the side and his football in general with Wednesday.
Arguably the performance of the season came last weekend as the Owls overcame Forest 3-0 at The City Ground and Palmer says the players enjoyed every bit of that success.
And the right back believes everyone is contributing to that feelgood factor, which he hopes will continue this weekend as Wednesday host Charlton.
He told swfc.co.uk: “It’s rare that you can enjoy a game that much while you’re playing in it.
“Usually you take the time to watch it afterwards and enjoy certain parts but I think everyone enjoyed how we played.
“It was fantastic for everyone watching and playing.
“But I see every day in training what the lads can do and how they can create something out of nothing.
“You win the ball and when our forward players have it, you just believe that with their skills and trickery, they can beat a man and create chances and that gives everyone a lift.”
During Palmer’s last three outings, Wednesday have registered three clean sheets in the games with Hull, Brighton and Forest and proud of that run, he added:
“Of course a big part of my job is to defend but on the flipside, when you have players like Fernando getting back and winning the ball, then playing a part in the two goals, he epitomises the work ethic we have in the squad.
“We are a strong unit.”
