Owls star Fernando Forestieri is in the running to scoop the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for the second time this season.
The original 12 candidates have been whittled down to three, with Forestieri amongst those in with a chance to win the March prize.
The 26-year-old won the October award and is pictured below collecting his trophy ahead of the Owls’ 3-1 win over Huddersfield.
In the Owls’ trip to The City Ground, Forestieri was at the heart of the first two goals, unlocking the door through his tireless efforts off the ball for Aiden McGeady and Gary Hooper to grab the goals against Forest.
Marco Matias added gloss to the scoreline five minutes from time to make it 3-0.
And the Owls’ top scorer bagged his 13th goal of the campaign last time out in the 3-0 win over Charlton at Hillsborough.
