For the 22nd year Sheffield Wednesday showed their support to football’s equality and anti-discrimination organisation Kick It Out during the home fixture against Charlton Athletic last Saturday.
Owls stars donned charity t-shirts for the warm-ups ahead of the game, the club’s Community Programme displayed Kick It Out posters on the pitch and the club supported the organisation via social media and the matchday programme.
Rishi Jain, Football League Clubs Development Officer from Kick It Out, said: ““It was great to see Sheffield Wednesday supporting the work of Kick It Out at their last game.
"The backing of professional clubs like Wednesday is tremendously important as we aim to promote equality and inclusion throughout football.”
