#JeffsMarch comes to Hillsborough!

24 March 2016

Sheffield Wednesday today welcomed Sky Sports News presenter Jeff Stelling to Hillsborough on his incredible 262-mile Prostate Cancer UK charity challenge.

Owls stars Keiren Westwood and Kieran Lee were on hand to meet Jeff at the stadium, where they were joined by local and national media, the Sheffield Wednesday and England band and PCUK volunteers.

Jeff, speaking to swfc.co.uk, said: “The walk has been hard but it will be worth it to see how much money and awareness has been raised.

“Sheffield Wednesday have been great and we had a wonderful reception at Hillsborough by the supporters and the two players. It was a great boost to see Keiren Westwood and Kieran waiting to greet me and its things like that that keep you going.

“Thank you to everyone that has supported the challenge and I hope more people can meet me along the way to get involved themselves!”

Jeff, whose charity trek has already smashed through the £200,000 barrier, is halfway through the challenge to undertake ten walking marathons in ten days, ending at Wembley Stadium on 30 March.
