The Owls’ Under-18s hit back from defeat against Ipswich with a convincing 4-0 win over Hull at Middlewood Road.
It was Wednesday’s second thrashing of the Tigers in as many weeks following the 6-0 success on Humberside.
The hosts were on top from the start, creating a ream of chances without putting the back of the net.
But that changed midway through the first half through Connor O’Grady before Mason Duffy doubled the lead.
The Owls were in complete control and duly added a third before the break with a long ranger from Jordan Lonchar.
The points were all but decided by half time but any doubts were extinguished when George Hirst completed the scoring.
