Carlos Carvalhal is keen to put right the mistakes from the Owls’ last outing in the Sky Bet Championship.
As converse as that sounds, given the 3-0 result in Wednesday’s favour over Nottingham Forest, the head coach believes there is plenty his side can do and change to become stronger.
The Owls face league strugglers Charlton at Hillsborough on Saturday and Carlos said:
“We did really very well in the last game and we have done fantastic in games before during this season.
“But we understand in football all the time that there are things we miss.
“Even though we did well, we did some mistakes and we must correct those mistakes.
“I’m absolutely sure that tomorrow, we will try to play our football but we will make different mistakes and after, we will correct them for the next game.
“This is the way to prepare a football team. It’s why I say we must focus and that the most important thing is always the next game.
“All the time you are building, or in construction or reconstruction because the building is never perfect.”
