Carlos Carvalhal says confidence and belief at the club is sky high.
Although the Owls head into the play-off final as underdogs against Hull, Carlos believes the game will be evenly balanced at Wembley.
After two games during the Sky Bet Championship regular campaign, there was nothing to separate the Owls and the Tigers.
The head coach said: “We are underdogs. Why are we underdogs? Because the teams like Hull City are more ready than us since the beginning.
“We are the outsiders but being underdogs doesn’t mean we don’t have 50% of the chances to win the game.
“The chances are the same to both teams. We have played two games against Hull City and don’t lose any game. We didn’t win also.
“It will be a balanced final.”
Carlos added: “We have a good emotional connection with the fans and this has been very important during the season.
“We know we have made history in the club at this moment. It’s been a long time that Sheffield Wednesday haven’t achieved these kind of things.
“The self-confidence of the club is more high in this moment for sure.”
