The Owls are heading for Wembley and for Carlos Carvalhal, that day will be one to cherish.
The head coach says he has watched many cup finals staged at Wembley growing up and is now preparing to lead his side there in one of the biggest games in world football.
With a place in the Premier League at stake, Carlos said:
“It’s been a long time for Sheffield Wednesday and it’s very important for the club. Now we can wake up the giant.
“I grew up in my country seeing the games on a black and white TV and it used to be the final of the cup in England.
“I never thought I would go to Wembley one day and now this is something that we have achieved. It is fantastic.”
He added: “I played football for a long time and the things that I remember is not the money, but the good moments when we played important games and when we reached cup finals. We are making history.”
