Sheffield Wednesday will face Brighton in the Sky Bet Championship play-off semi finals.
Following a dramatic day at the top of the table, Middlesbrough have taken the final automatic promotion spot after drawing 1-1 with the Seagulls at The Riverside.
Brighton and Middlesbrough finish the campaign level on 89 points, meaning Boro are promoted to the Premier League by a goal difference of two.
Chris Hughton’s side will now visit Hillsborough on Friday 13 May for the semi final first leg before the Owls travel to The Amex on Monday 16.
Both meetings between the Owls and Seagulls finished 0-0 in the regular Championship season.
