Carlos Carvalhal feels his side have one big advantage heading into the lottery of the play-offs later this month.
The condition of the players offers plenty of encouragement for the head coach, who says they are training as well now as they were at the beginning.
Showing no signs of slowing down at this crucial and late stage in the season, Carlos said:
“I think we have something that is in our favour in the last period of the competition.
“We feel strong, no players are over training, some of the players who have played a lot of games we rest them, we manage all the squad and we feel strong.
“When I train with my team, I am not feeling we are near the end of the season.
“I feel they are strong like at the beginning and we saw that in the last game.
“You saw for example the reaction when we missed the ball, the way that we go to the ball to win it back and we did really well.
“In very good condition you can do this, so let’s see in the play-offs what we can do.”
Wednesday face Wolves at Molineux on Saturday before beginning their play-off campaign the following Friday with a semi final first leg at Hillsborough against either Middlesbrough or Brighton.
