After a season of hard work, determination and much success, Daniel Pudil believes the Owls deserve their shot at the play-offs.
The left back is eagerly anticipating tonight’s clash with Brighton and says Wednesday head into semi finals with bags of confidence.
“We have been working all year for this,” Pudil said. “Not just in the last couple of weeks and I think we deserve this opportunity.
“Everyone is looking forward, we know what we have to do. The stadium will be full, many people will be there and we would like to make them happy.”
Both sides enter into the play-offs with good form to boast. The Seagulls have lost just one game in their previous 20 Championship outings.
The Owls, though, have lost only one of their last 20 league games at Hillsborough.
Pudil continued: “We reached the play-offs and this was the first target for us and now we are going there with big confidence.
“We are not the favourites because Brighton were very close to the Premier League and just missed out in the last game but we are only focused on our game and how we are going to play.
“There will be a big crowd, they are always loud and they will help us.”
