David Jones acknowledged the disappointment of last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Ipswich at Hillsborough but believes the team spirit within the camp will help the Owls bounce back.
The final international break of the year is now in place and Jones insists the squad will come back stronger.
The midfielder said: “It was disappointing to lose a game that we feel we should be getting a better result in.
“As disappointing as this was, though, we can’t focus on this game in isolation, we’ve been solid recently despite the last two results that haven’t gone our way.
“There’s a lot of good things to build from, we need to not lose confidence, get together as a team and focus on the good habits that see you through.
“We were on top in the game before they scored their second, but no team is going to lie down for you.
“We’ve got a good team spirit and we’ll come together over the next two weeks and work hard and be full of energy ready for the next game.”
