Owls striker Gary Hooper has been shortlisted for the Championship PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
The 28-year-old scored twice in October, the first in Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Brighton before hitting the only goal of the game against QPR at Hillsborough three weeks later.
Those goals took Hooper’s overall tally to four for the campaign.
Also in the running for the award are Dwight Gayle (Newcastle), Sam Baldock (Brighton), Paul Gallagher (Preston), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff) and Massimo Luongo (QPR).
