The Owls’ travelling contingent were in fine voice last weekend during the trip to Fulham.
Carlos Carvalhal says without question, the players responded to those high levels of support from the Wednesdayites in the capital.
The head coach believes Wednesday’s support in the West Midlands on Saturday will be equally as important for the players and he explained:
“It wasn’t just the team that performed very well at Fulham but the supporters also,” Carlos said.
“All the time the supporters are in the high level but especially in the game at Fulham.
“They pushed a lot to our players, we heard them very strong on the pitch and it was important to the confidence of our team and the way that we played.
“Our team responded to that support absolutely because we played with big heart.
“We are playing like this and I expect we will play against Wolves with this big heart.”
