A good challenge

15 October 2016

Carlos Carvalhal believes that a trip to the Championship’s in-form side Huddersfield will be a good test for his side.

With the Terriers yet to drop a single point at home, the Owls head coach says Wednesday must be at their highest levels on Sunday.

With the game live on Sky and a record attendance expected at The John Smith’s Stadium, Carlos says these are the kind of games his players enjoy.

He told swfc.co.uk: “Huddersfield are in a good level, they are in first place and deserve that at this moment.

“They haven’t lost any points at home so it’s a good challenge for us.

“We are playing against the team first in the Championship, they are doing a good season, they have a style of play but we are ready for the game.

“We understand absolutely that we must be at our highest levels to achieve points in this game.

“But I think it’s a good challenge to us to play against Huddersfield at their stadium. Our players like these kind of games.”
