Fernando Forestieri was delighted to score the winning goal in Sunday’s Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield.
Having gone close after the break by clipping the upright with a clever chip over goalkeeper Danny Ward, the Owls ace struck from the penalty spot later in the half to seal the points.
With five wins from seven and now back to back victories away from home, Forestieri says the most important thing today was the win.
“With this win it will do so much for our confidence, we played so much like a team and I am so happy for the players,” he said.
“I felt unlucky because I hit the post before when I was one on one with the goalkeeper but afterwards I took my second chance.
“The most important thing is that we won. That is more important than everything else.”
