Sheffield Wednesday youngster Jordan Lonchar has penned his first professional contract with the Owls.
The pacey winger has signed a deal until June 2019.
It’s been a productive week for the 17-year-old who scored two goals for the Under-18s at Bolton on Saturday.
Speaking to swfc.co.uk, he said: “I am very happy to have signed.
“To sign for the club you support is amazing, I have been here since I was eight years old, and I’m lost for words!
“I always hoped I would sign a professional contract here, but I knew I had to work hard to get to this point.
“It’s been a great week, to get the three points, to score two goals, it’s an unbelievable feeling.
“The club is heading in a great direction and in the future I hope I can contribute to that.
“I’ve had loads of support from my family, friends and the club, they’ve all helped me get to this point.
“The next step is to get used to the standard and enjoy it all as much as possible.
“My aim is to get better and be the best player I can be.”
