Owls set for derby day

13 October 2016

Sunday’s Yorkshire derby at Huddersfield is set to be a cracking occasion.

The Owls travel to The John Smith’s Stadium to face the Championship’s form side.

David Wagner’s Terriers are unbeaten at home and sit top of the division and in front of the Sky cameras this weekend, are set to welcome a record attendance.

The Owls’ allocation of 2,000 tickets were quickly snapped up and with limited availability in the home end, the capacity crowd will no doubt add to the occasion.

“We must all focus on the next game, in this case it is Huddersfield,” Carlos told swfc.co.uk. “We are pushing the players and we are sure our fans will be at 100% in the game to support the team.

“They will be very important to us absolutely sure.”

Sheffield Wednesday’s pre-match media conference will take place on Friday morning from 9.45am.
