Liam Palmer has signed a contract extension with the Owls.
The popular defender has now committed his future to Wednesday until the summer of 2019.
Palmer came through the ranks with his boyhood club, graduating from the academy to make his first league start against AFC Bournemouth in February 2011.
The Worksop product has since gone from strength to strength at Hillsborough via a successful season-long loan with Tranmere Rovers.
Palmer, who scooped a raft of Player of the Year awards in 2013/14, has made 140 appearances for the Owls in all competitions to date.
