The boys are buzzing

25 October 2016

With six wins in nine, strong performances and seven points from the last nine available, Ross Wallace says there is a strong feeling of togetherness in the dressing room.

Wednesday head to Derby this weekend and the Scot has told swfc.co.uk that the boys are buzzing after a successful period for the club.

Having maintained position in the top six, the winger believes victory over QPR on Saturday provided the squad with another boost, explaining:

“We’ve got people who can create chances and score goals all over the team, we have got threats all over the place that’s why it’s so difficult for teams to play against us.

“The boys are buzzing, we are happy with how things are going at the moment but there is a long way to go.

“The main thing is there is a good feelgood factor here, we’re really happy and playing some good stuff.

“We have got a good squad of players - a stronger squad than what we had last season.”

And the 31-year-old believes there is no reason why the Owls can’t go from strength to strength in the months to come.

He added: “It’s about keeping confident, staying together and the fans staying behind us all the way. They were magnificent again for us on Saturday.

“We set such high standards last season, with that has come added expectation but I think we are playing really well and dominating games.”
