Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher featured for Scotland in their 5-1 victory over Malta on Sunday evening.
Bannan – one of the Scots' standout performers on the night – played the full 90 minutes at the Ta'Qali Stadium.
Leading 3-1 in the second half, Fletcher came on from the bench on 68 minutes and scored Scotland’s fourth goal ten minutes later – a bullet header from a Matt Ritchie centre.
A Robert Snodgrass hat-trick and a goal from Chris Martin sealed a comfortable win over nine-man Malta, who saw Jonathan Caruana and Luke Gambin dismissed.
Meanwhile, Daniel Pudil was an unused substitute in Czech Republic’s 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland in Prague.
