Right back Liam Palmer has enjoyed a positive return to the starting line-up, helping the Owls take four points from the last two outings.
Palmer was recalled to the XI away at Brentford and then named in the starting line-up for Saturday’s win over Wigan at Hillsborough.
With strong competition from team mate Jack Hunt, Palmer knows he must be at his best to hold onto the starting shirt.
He said: “Whenever I’m picked I give 100%. Whether it’s 90 minutes, five minutes or one minute, I will always give everything.
“When I’m not in the squad, I just keep giving 100% and that’s the only way I can look at it and try to give my best to the team.”
With strong options for the Owls in that right back position, Palmer continued:
“Jack is a very good player, I can learn bits off him, he can learn bits off me and we’re always working together.
“We both make sure we’re ready when called upon.”
