The Owls have lost an appeal against Sam Hutchinson’s red card sustained against Bristol City on Tuesday.
Hutchinson was dismissed for bringing down City Marlon Pack in the penalty area.
The versatile former Chelsea man will now serve a one-match suspension, at Birmingham on Saturday.
