In a good way

26 September 2016

The Owls head to Blackburn on Tuesday following another dramatic afternoon of football at Hillsborough last weekend.

Wednesday came back to defeat Nottingham Forest 2-1, registering their third home win on the bounce in the process.

Reflecting back on the past five games, stretching back to the clash with Brentford, Carlos said:

“It’s not just the three wins at Hillsborough, it goes further than this.

“It’s the way that we’ve drawn against Brentford.

“They are doing a very good season but we went there and did fantastic and also the way that we played in Birmingham.

“It was a game we absolutely deserved to win but these kind of things make us confident and I still say we are in a very good way.”

Tuesday’s clash at Ewood Park will present a tough challenge for the Owls as Blackburn head into the game on the back of two successive wins and out of the bottom three.

But the Owls head coach has full confidence in his players and he continued:

“When questions are put to us, we must give the correct answers. I feel that is what we are doing so we are happy.”
