It will come

Sam Hutchinson insists there is no more pressure than normal for the Owls to post a travelling triumph.

Furthermore, the utility man says the first away win of the season will come in its own time, be it tonight at Blackburn or further down the line.

Wednesday have largely impressed in each of their four Championship games on the road this term, the defeat at Burton aside, as Hutchinson acknowledged.

He said: “If we analyse our performances away from home, we can see there is nothing to worry about, no concerns at all.

“We went to Norwich who are now top of the league and played really, really well. Okay, we lost at Burton and we didn’t deserve to win because they were better than us on the night, and that happens.

“But then we went to Brentford and played them off the park and should have comfortably won the game, and after that we played very well at Birmingham and should have taken something from that game.

“So there are no concerns, there is no pressure to win our first away game because when you play for Sheffield Wednesday, there is always pressure to win games.

“We handle that well, we know what we can do and whether that win comes tonight, the next game or whenever, we know it will come.”
