Playing games and performing

Adam Reach is keen to hit top form with the Owls after making a positive start to his S6 career.

The former Middlesbrough man has made three appearances since his deadline day switch and says it is important he produces the performances.

Aiming for a response after defeat last time out, Reach told swfc.co.uk:

“We had a couple of days to get the Birmingham game out of our system and now we are ready to go on Saturday.

“For me, I’m 23 now and maybe not classed as a young prospect anymore. You need to start playing games and be putting in performances every week.

“Football comes with high pressure and you have to handle that.

“I’m not feeling any pressure with the fans or my team mates, I’m confident in my own ability so I’ll hopefully go out there and show everybody what I can do.”

And Reach has already demonstrated his versatile nature for Wednesday, playing in his preferred wide left role and stepping in at full back in the absence of Daniel Pudil at St Andrew’s.

He continued: “Anywhere the manager needs me to play, I will do that. I am always trying to improve so if I can add another position to my CV then that’s perfect.

“I am happy to play anywhere the manager needs me to.”
