A raft of Owls are returning to the camp from international duty and Fernando Forestieiri has hailed the impact of his team mates’ success.
Keiren Westwood, Joe Wildsmith, Daniel Pudil, Barry Bannan, Steven Fletcher and George Hirst each represented their countries over the last week and Forestieri says their inclusion can only reflect well on Wednesday.
He exclusively told swfc.co.uk: “Training is good and everyone is strong after the international break.
“It is very good to have players on international teams as it’s good for Sheffield Wednesday. It shows the talent the squad has.
“All the players who were called up for their countries will have taken a big shot of confidence and that can only reflect well on the team here.”
