Barry Bannan says there’s no better feeling in football than celebrating a last minute winner.
Wednesday incredibly battled back from two goals down to win 3-2 with Kieran Lee striking in the 96th minute.
Bannan played a major part in the Owls’ fightback against the Robins and scored his first goal of season from range to level the score on the night.
He told swfc.co.uk: “Luckily enough they missed the penalty and we grew and grew into the game and deserved the win.
“I got the ball a lot of the time in the second half with no one around me, I felt like the opportunity was there and it felt right to have a shot.
“I caught it well and if you don’t shoot, you don’t score. It was a great moment for me, I love scoring goals and want to chip in whenever I can.”
Lee’s calm finish in stoppage time sparked dramatic celebrations at Hillsborough and Bannan continued:
“You can’t explain it. It’s the best feeling you can have in football. We had done so well to get back in the game at 2-2, I think it’s massive for us.
“The way the crowd, players and staff reacted - you could see it was a big moment.
“It was a great three points in the end.”
