Following another dramatic turnaround at Hillsborough, Carlos Carvalhal has underlined the character and personality of his assembled Owls squad.
Wednesday reversed a 1-0 half time deficit into a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, in keeping with a similar pedigree this season.
Indeed, the Owls have salvaged ten points from a losing position so far, prompting Carvalhal to say:
“This is a very important part of the game and for me right now, it shows the personality of this team.
“We have big, strong characters and they do not know when they are beaten. They fight right to the very last kick of every game.
“When we have been losing at certain parts of games, we should have been winning every time.
“The players know this and stay positive, the environment is very, very good and we are getting the points we deserve.”
