Carlos Carvalhal has praised the work ethic and value to the team Kieran Lee brings to the table.
The midfield man stole the headlines in midweek as his late strike snatched victory in the last moment of the clash with Bristol City.
The Owls showed fantastic character and endeavour to overturn a two-goal deficit and on Lee, he said:
“As I told you since the beginning, Kieran is a fantastic player.
“He is a player where the coaches look to him 100% of the time. For coaches, even after being here for two or three days, you can see the importance of players like Kieran.
“They are team workers, they have quality, he is a fantastic player and I was very happy for him that he scored the goal.”
He added: “He knows and we know it was a collective process. Nobody does anything individual in the game, it’s about the team.
“All the team did a lot of work to change the score on Tuesday.”
