Steven Fletcher has hailed the performance of the team in the 2-0 win over Rotherham United on Tuesday evening.
The Scot struck twice in the first half as Wednesday posted a crucial three points at The New York Stadium to rise back into the top six.
It was a welcomed return to winning ways for the Owls, who now face Newcastle on Saturday.
Reflecting on the travelling triumph, Fletcher said: “It was a good team performance, it was also nice to get on the scoresheet but we needed the three points.
“We came here, we knew it was going to be hard but we got the three points and we are happy.
“This is where we want to be at the end of the season, in the top six and hopefully we can keep putting the performances together, keep going and adding those wins to the board.”
