Generous Owls fans are closing in on raising an incredible £10,000 towards the ‘Sheffield Wednesday Bedroom’ at the Children’s Hospital.
That fantastic figure reflects the kind-hearted nature of the senior Wednesday squad, who donated 90 minutes’ salary towards the build of the bedroom when the Owls hosted Cardiff on Good Friday.
The bucket collection ahead of the game raised an impressive £4,877 – the highest amount ever generated for the hospital at Hillsborough.
Meanwhile, the Owls’ JustGiving page has raised £3,439 so far, which with Gift Aid totals £4,295.
The page closes on Monday so we are hoping to achieve the magic mark of £10,000 by close of play then!
