Jack Hunt believes Wednesday turned in one of their best away performances of the season at Newcastle on Boxing Day.
With the return fixture this evening at Hillsborough, the right back says the fans will play a key role against the title contenders.
A Glenn Loovens goal after the break settled the festive fixture last time out and Hunt recalled:
“It was arguably our best performance of the season away from home.
“But we know they have quality in abundance, we need to minimise that as much as we can and stop them playing.
“We’re at our home and we need to take the game to them. We have quality and we are confident.
“Hillsborough will be packed out and we’ll need the fans every step of the way, 100%. We want to take the game to them.
“We have pressure every week after last season and pressure we put on ourselves to win games.
“We have to get into the play-offs and put right what happened last season.”
