Adam Reach cut a frustrated figure at Oakwell following the Owls’ 1-1 draw with Barnsley but is keen to look forward with a buy schedule ahead.

The winger refused to give up on a long ball upfield and forced goalkeeper Adam Davies into an error, which led to Sam Winnall breaking the deadlock after the break.

But the Reds levelled in stoppage time to snatch a point and with seven games left to play, starting with a trip to Rotherham on Tuesday, Reach says Wednesday remain confident, explaining:

“It still all depends on us, we’re not relying on anyone else, it’s still on us.

“We have another game on Tuesday so it’s an opportunity for us. There are still a lot of points to play for. We are confident in ourselves.

“We have a lot of experience, a lot of players who been there and done it and our team spirit and togetherness will play a big part.”

He continued: “We thought we did enough to win the game but without Fox at the far post at the end we actually could have lost it.

“So we’ll take the positives but at this stage of the season, it’s all about wins and we should have got one today.

“We’ll learn lessons from it, they’re the kind of games where you need to get that second goal.”
