Sheffield Wednesday are saddened to hear of the passing of our former chief scout and caretaker manager Bill Green.
Bill was the Owls’ chief scout before Terry Yorath’s departure saw him step into the dugout for one game against Derby County in 2002.
Prior to his passing Bill was head of recruitment at Premier League side Southampton.
He died yesterday at the age of 66.
The club would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Bill’s family and friends at this difficult time.
